Tyrrells Wood Golf Club is delighted to be a signatory of the R&A Women in Golf Charter. This highlights our ongoing commitment to inspire more families to enjoy golf as a group leisure activity, to encourage more women and girls to try out and thrive in the game of golf, and to open up more opportunities for women to work within the golf industry.
We have committed to:

Increase the number of women into our academy and aim for 50/50 split of women and men.

Undertake a minimum of three free taster programmes per year with the aim to increase the number of women and girls who take up or return to golf, either through joining the junior section, academy or full membership.

Promote better integration of women and girls golfers into the wider club community and create a more welcoming environment.

Use MI systems to develop and improve percentage split of men to women members in all areas, including the Academy.
